Trent Focos LED headlights for cars are developed for best quality light beam pattern for both of Refectors and Projectors of vehicles. We adopt LUXEON Z ES LED and powerful cooling fan to ensure premium product quality.

The Risk Of Dazzling Light

Most of LED headlight kits in market focus on super high brightness only. Their producers adopt high power LED, high wattage electric system, but it has no high quality beam pattern design. These headlight bulbs are suitable for projector rather than reflector. 

Why is light beam pattern important?

  • For the reflectors, if the thickness between 2 sides’ LEDs is larger, the projected lighting will be too dazzling to the oppsite drivers and walkers. That will weaken their eyesight, they can’t see the front road situation.
  • On the other hand, because your vehicle’s lighting is dispersed, so the illumination distance will be very short, then your view is not clear and not far.
  • Worse beam pattern quality will weaken the views for both of you and the opposite drivers, that cause high driving risk.

Premium Quality

Quality is one of the most important points in purchasing, but it’s very difficult to identify which is the best in so many of factories in market. Almost every company claims high quality, that greatly confuses purchasers. Now, let’s see how Trent produce products.

How to make it?

  • Continuous lifespan test: We always make continuous lifespan test in all products’ development with 6~12 months until burning out.
  • High standard in raw materials purchase: Trent only buy raw materials from big responsible companies, especially LED chip, various electronic components etc.
  • 100% bulbs age test with 4~8 hrs: Before packaging, Trent will do 4~8 hrs age test for ever bulb. Other factories only do 1~2 hrs for a few products randomly.

Slow Brightness Decay

To develop and produce a high brightness LED headlight is very easy, just use high power LED chip, and set a very high wattage for the bulb. The real difficulty is to make the high brightness of LED conversion kit to be sustainable, won’t keep falling down fast.

How about Trent bulbs’ brightness decay?

  • Most of high power LED headlight bulbs in market is super bright in beginning few months. After that, a big part bulbs’ brightness will keep falling down fast to be less than 60%. That will cause huge safety risk for both drivers and other persons, even if the bulb still can light up.
  • Trent uses Z ES LED, powerful cooling system (fan, copper PCB etc.), and 24W power, we ensure the LED working temperature will be around 110°C (other factories’ bulbs are over 150°C). So that Trent headlight is not only long lifespan, but also can be over 70%~80% brightness after 1~2 years working.
